Skip the whole milk. Pass on soda. Drink beer?

That's correct kids. As the 2 Beer Guys say, beer is the real milk. And now there is actually some evidence to support our claim. Moreover, it turns out that components in beer products have anti-inflammatory properties, so it would actually be good for your health.
It has to be said that these properties can also be found in non-alcoholic beers because the boffins would not want to have it said that they encourage coming home slammed every day 'for health reasons'.

So, when you were saying 'good health' when lifting the glass, you were actually right!

Beer IS the real milk: mature animals do not drink milk. To wit: most of humanity is lactose intolerant because you're not supposed to consume it anymore after you're weened off of [can I say: 'the mother's teet' here? Better not huh?] drinking milk as a baby. Some peoples have trained themselves to metabolise it in adulthood, but it's not actually what you should be doing.

What you should be doing is: drinking beer [and be sensible about it, that's what you're an adult for!].

    Good health!
